Today a new episode premieres on Smartcherry TV, which will address the commercial balance of the 2023-2024 cherry campaign, through interesting interviews; one of them, Alfonso Frías, General Manager of Blossom, who commented on market details, prices, and returns.

“As there was a feeling of scarcity at the beginning of the season, Santina is the one with the best returns by far; it gives us between USD 7-8 dollars per producer,” commented Alfonso Frías.

We also talked with Isabel Quiroz, Founder and Director of iQonsulting, who described the recent cherry campaign as “magnificent”: “Unlike everything that was predicted at the beginning, very early in the season it was expected to have 100 million boxes and then it was reduced due to climatic issues to less, that only 80 million boxes were going to be obtained, the truth is that we ended up the same,” Quiroz commented.

The report “Rx for the season: Commercial balance of the 2023-2024 cherry campaign” will also feature the participation of the president of Fedefruta, Jorge Valenzuela; also, Claudia Soler, Director of the Cherry Committee of Chilean Fruits, and Nicolás Zamorano, Asia Manager of QCFruit, who is in China and provided us with a complete analysis of the recent season.
