Spain: Minister Luis Planas inaugurates Fruit Attraction 2023

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food of Spain, Luis Planas, inaugurated this morning Fruit Attraction 2023, an event organized by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX, which will be held until Thursday, October 5 at the Madrid venue.

In its 15th Anniversary, the fair, organized by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX and with Andalusia as the Guest Region, registers the largest participation in its history with 2,000 exhibiting companies from 56 countries, more than 64,000 square meters of surface, and the expected attendance of 90,000 professionals from 135 nations.

For the first time, 9 pavilions -1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10- host the great fruit and vegetable offering that this edition brings together, which represents an increase in both occupancy and participation of more than 10% with respect to the last edition. Thus, Fruit Attraction 2023 will turn Madrid into the world epicenter of the marketing of fresh products.

The opening ceremony was also attended by Fernando Miranda, Secretary General of Agriculture and Food, as well as Gonzalo Capellรกn, President of La Rioja, and the Councelors of Agriculture of La Rioja, Noemรญ Manzanos Martรญnez; from Murcia, Sara Subira Martรญnez; from Aragon, รngel Samper Secorรบn; from the Canary Islands, Narvay Quintero; Balearic Islands, Joan Simonet Pons; the general secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Food of the Government of Andalusia, Manuel Gรณmez Galera; the president of the Badajoz Provincial Council, Miguel รngel Gallardo Miranda, president of the Badajoz Provincial Council. They were also joined by Marta Nieto, general director of Commerce, Consumption and Services and รngel de Oteo Mancebo, general director of Agriculture, Livestock and Food of the Community of Madrid, as well as ร“scar Romera, General Coordinator of Economy, Commerce and Consumption, and Concha Dรญaz de Villegas, general director of Commerce, Hospitality and Consumer Affairs of the Madrid City Council, Juan Arrizabalga, general director of IFEMA MADRID, and Jorge Brotons, president of FEPEX.

The fair, organized by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX, is held at the fairgrounds until Thursday the 5th, from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and until 5:00 p.m. the last day (local time).
