International Fruit Expo: New business opportunities after pandemic restrictions

Major exporters from Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Chile, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Peru and other major origins targeting the Chinese market after the Covid time will be attending on September 1-3, 2023, to discuss and cooperate with domestic partners on the international fruit exhibition in Guangzhou, China.

Two major industry organizations in China will jointly host the 2023 International Fruit Expo, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs and Native Animals, which is the largest industry association in the field of import and export of food and agricultural products in the country, and the China Fruit Circulation Association, which focuses on the planting of domestic fruits and the circulation of domestic markets.

The exhibition area of the 2023 International Fruit Exhibition will reach more than 23,000 square meters, attracting over 200 companies to participate in the exhibition, and it is expected that about 15,000 professional visitors will cover the entire industry chain of the fruit industry.

The second exhibition has added a number of regional pavilions, and major fruit producing areas such as Gansu, Shaanxi, Yunnan, Guangxi, Hainan, and Xinjiang have joined hands with the Department of Commerce and local fruit industry associations to organize the display of high-quality fruits in various regions to help local high-quality fruits connect with more buyer channels.

Overseas Exporter Pavilion

At the same time, major exporters from Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Chile, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Peru and other major origins targeting the Chinese market will be attending after the Covid time to discuss and cooperate with domestic partners on the international fruit exhibition.

In Chile, for example, 100-150 Chilean fruit importers and exporters will set up pavilions under the organization of the Chilean Fruit Exporters Association (ASOEX) to attend the exhibition and connect with domestic buyers.

Guangzhou was selected as the venue for the 2nd International Fruit Exhibition. As the birthplace of Chinese mainland imported fruit industry, Guangzhou plays a vital role in China’s fruit circulation. The Canton Fair Complex has a series of modern exhibition facilities and professional services to provide exhibitors and visitors with a first-class visiting and display experience.

Business opportunities and activities

In the early stage of the exhibition, the organizer will invite 15,000+ professional buyers from chain supermarkets, chain stores, e-commerce and community group buying, wholesale traders, hotel catering, and retail omni-channel. At the exhibition site, the organizer will arrange business matching between specific buyers and leading exhibitors to negotiate procurement.

The 7th China (International) Fruit Conference will be held the day before the 2023 International Fruit Exhibition. The conference will invite more than 500 people, including officials from more than ten major exporting countries such as Chile, Thailand, Australia, Peru and New Zealand, foreign-funded fruit enterprises in China, domestic leading enterprises, domestic and foreign fruit associations and fruit exhibition exhibitors, to closely follow the development proposition of the contemporary fruit industry and discuss the new trend of the industry!
