China-September: Reserve your space today for the Int. Fruit Expo!

The 2023 International Fruit Expo will be held in Guangzhou, the China’s imported fruit trading capital, from 1 to 3 September. This annual exhibition brings together some of the biggest players in the fruit industry and it is dedicated to showcasing the best fruits from around the world to the Chinese market.

The 2023 International Fruit Expo is organized by two major business associations in China: China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By-Products (CFNA) and The China Fruit Marketing Association (CFMA).

The event brings together leading companies and buyer channels that are representative and influential in China. This ensures that participants have direct access to the Chinese market and can make valuable connections with potential buyers.

Companies from all over the world can participate. The organization is expecting more than 20 participating countries and regions, plus 140 leading players, over 23,000 m2 exhibition area and more than 8,000 trade visitors. Guangzhou, the venue for the 2023 expo, is China’s imported fruit trading capital, making it easier for inland provinces to participate in the expo and connect with potential buyers.

China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By-Products (CFNA) located in Beijing and founded in 1988, is the largest industry association in the field of food and agricultural products import and export in China. At present, there are more than 6,800 member enterprises in China, focusing on the largest and most representative companies in the industry and a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises, representing the overall level and strength of China’s food industry and agricultural products industry.

The China Fruit Marketing Association (CFMA) was established in 1991. It is a nationwide non-profitable corporation of fruit industry registered under the China’s Ministry of Civil Affairs. The CFMA is voluntarily formed by companies engaged in fruit production, circulation, processing and storage, fruit specialized cooperatives, local associations, research institutes, and other relevant companies serving the fruit industry.

Connecting the World to the Chinese Market

This year edition, the main objective remains the same: to connect the world’s high-quality fruits to the Chinese market. The expo hopes to attract local high-quality fruit from all over the world, in addition to gathering excellent channel business resources in South China. With a new pavilion located at the Canton Fair venue and a larger number of new exhibitors, the 2023 edition promises to be even bigger and better than before.

One of the exciting features of the expo is the specialized conferences and talks. The day before the launch, the 2023 China International Fruit Conference will take place, inviting industry experts to speak on hot topics. This year’s hot topics are yet to be announced, but in past conferences, representatives from leading companies like Chile Garces, Copetrut, Dole, and FRUSAN have given amazing speeches.

The target audience for the International Fruit Expo includes fruit industry professionals, traders, buyers, distributors, and anyone interested in learning more about the latest developments in the fruit industry.
