The “Cherry Trip” began on June 26th and will conclude on Friday 30th, including the participation in Chile’s largest technical cherry event, CherryTech, on Thursday.
Anรญbal Caminiti, Manager of the Integrated Argentinian Chamber of Cherry Producers (CAPCI), commented on the visit, stating, “Chile is a leading country in cherry production and marketing. Annually, Argentinian technicians and producers participate in events and training sessions, but this time the visit is more extensive. The Federal Investment Council collaborated to ensure the participation of the five most important cherry-producing provinces in Argentina, including Mendoza, Neuquรฉn, Rรญo Negro, Chubut, and Santa Cruz, with the southernmost region and the latest production.”
“We will conclude this tour by attending CherryTech. Not only will we participate in the insightful presentations by our Chilean colleagues, but we will also have the opportunity to connect and establish relationships with technology providers and suppliers of specific inputs for cherry production, which is extremely important since, as I mentioned, Chile is a reference in the cherry industry,” added Caminiti.
