Chile led the global ranking with 529,500 tons, followed by Hong Kong with 168,400 tons, the United States with 84,200 tons, Türkiye with 66,500 tons, and Spain with 34,100 tons. Uzbekistan was followed by Greece with 28,000 tons, Azerbaijan with 25,800 tons, Austria with 18,100 tons, and Moldova with 10,100 tons.

Uzbekistan’s sweet cherry export volumes have varied over the past decade. Shipments totaled 29,200 tons in 2016, 30,600 tons in 2017, and 33,800 tons in 2018, before falling to 16,800 tons in 2019. Exports recovered to 31,300 tons in 2020 and reached 60,800 tons in 2021.

Export volumes then declined to 25,400 tons in 2022 and rose to 45,000 tons in 2023. Shipments stood at 32,200 tons in 2024 and 31,700 tons in 2025.

From January to June 2026, Uzbekistan exported 23,300 tons of sweet cherries to 11 countries, generating US$57.9 million in export revenue, according to the National Committee on Statistics.
